New Westminster

We had a wonderful day today in New Westminster! We went to an Antique and Craft fair, then the petting zoo - Elijah loved all the animals he said hello to all of them "hi goat, hi peacock, hi chickn'". We Played hard at the awesome playground, then made a little bird kite at a craft stand. I gave Elijah a pear and he thought it was an apple- so he held onto it for dear life (he is allergic to apples so he of course never gets them). I love those unplanned days that turn out to be so much fun!

Happy Day Momma

Elijah made me feel so special today, repeating "happy day momma". 

We spent the weekend on the Sunshine Coast and had such a blissful time, the trees are so lovely, the air so fresh, the ferry so fun.

moving...again...

We are making a public apology for taking up so much room in your address books. All those crossed out addresses and phone numbers. Yes we are moving again, this time it will be a little more permanent as Dan will be doing his PHD. Are you counting moves? I know I am. This will be number six...since I was 8 months pregnant, and yes Elijah is not even two yet. Okay, it is seven if you count moving back to Calgary in between moves. So those of you sending us snail mail or land line calls, we will send out our new info soon.

We had such a great time in Chicago- The Lincoln Park Zoo, the amazing Children's Museum, Chicago deep dish, all the pretty butterflies at the Nature Museum, the dinosaurs at the Field Museum, more pizza, beautiful buildings, Mexican food galore (and way too much horchata), train rides, bus adventures, huge parks... all that being said, it was great to come back to spring time Vancouver! As a side note can I mention how cute Elijah's bum looks sans diaper?

After a full day of travel we have arrived our artist loft in Chicago.
Old fashioned elevator, endless hallways, art galore,
ladder up into bed...Elijah is loving it.
