coos and giggles

We had a great day today! It started off when Elijah woke up at 8:00am sharp like he always does...but today he looked extra cute. I could not stop taking photos of him. Dan was playing with him and he was making all sorts of faces with his adorable big brown tired eyes.

His hair is coming in so nicely!

Elijah has not changed in a few ways, he still absolutely detests the car! He closes his eyes and wails as soon as we put him in the seat and there is no comforting him, even if I sit in the back with him. He is great for our carbon footprint as we walk and take the bus everywhere...the more peaceful option. He also still loves a nice warm shower with his mommy, boob milk, being in his carrier, daddy holding him and of course sleeping. 

However a few things that have changed for our little man, is that he LOVES getting his diaper changed. He stares at himself in the mirror and happily sucks on his hand...yes he has discovered his hands and they are pretty tasty! He also has outgrown most of his 0-3 month clothing so I am in the process of putting them away (sniff) and replacing them with the 3-6 month sizes. He is more content sitting on his own and will happily bounce in his chair. Elijah now goes to bed at 8:00pm every night, we cuddle until he falls asleep and then I sneak away and have dinner with Dan (mind you that is more of a milestone for me). It is amazing how fast they grow and change.

And the best part of my day was when Elijah cooed and smiled so big that it turned into a little giggle. It melted my heart. I love you and the all the sunshine you bring to cloudy Vancouver!!
