Five Months and Counting...

Gavin Luca is five months old...and what a little angel baby he is. He has been loving his Jolly Jumper and always wants to go in it. He giggles and jumps like crazy it is so sweet.
He has discovered many new things this month. He can sit up for a few seconds, he still needs a bit of help and leans quite far forward but he is getting the hang of it!
He is now rolling over from back to front, and is having a hard time falling asleep because he wants to test out his new skill. Oh and he had his first poop and pee on the potty!

Gavin is staying awake longer, loves to play with little toys, has discovered splashing in the tub, always wants to sleep on Daddy's chest, and just absolutely adores his big brother. He has grown so much and is so heavy! We did a weigh in when we were in Calgary and he was 20 pounds, so I imagine he is about 21 now.
He stops all the old ladies on our street and they ogle him...can you blame them? Just pure sweetness.
Love, love, love you.

Fathers Day

We had a great day at the Car Free festival on Commercial Drive! Dan was happy to have his espresso over Gelato, Elijah was happy because he won a medal scoring a goal at the soccer station, and I was happy to see crazy wonderful things like a Narnia Goat man play bagpipes while beat boxing.
We love you Daddy! Thanks for being so wonderful!

Our Epic Trip (part four)

The last few days of our trip were great! We had a nice tired trip to the farm, went to the dinosaur museum in Drumheller- Elijah has never been more excited, hanging out with family and a fun road trip home. As we still did not have a car...and I did not pack ID or passports to fly...Uncle Joe and Kelsey kindly drove us to Vernon. ROAD TRIP!! We had a great relaxing holiday with Grandma Sandie (I was so relaxed I apparently did not take any photos) and she drove us all the way back to Vancouver for another mini holiday.  It is such a wonderful feeling to be taken care of by family, and have so many people help you out...it made us feel so LOVED!
