Our Epic Trip (part two)
Well Easter came and went quite some time ago and me and my sister were not in the same city...so we postponed our festivities and the Easter Bunny made a special trip in May. It started the night before with a yummy meal and a super awesome treasure hunt! I loved how excited the kids were!
This is us all watching the kids finding the treasure...matching Easter pyjamas. They all excitedly put them on and off to sleep to wait for the Easter bunny.
I loved watching the kids during the egg hunt. Clara was in charge, finding everything, leading the boys around, making sure to share. Nate squatted in front of all the bunny cookies and ate everything as he went, his bucket was totally empty. Elijah followed Clara around excitedly refusing till the very end to even try a cookie. It was such a fun celebration!
Our Epic Trip (part one)
We were off...almost made it to Golden when our car started to go really slow. I looked at Dan please tell me you can go faster than 40. Nope. We putted to a rest stop, Elijah said "Mom is this where we are having our picnic?" YUP...I hitched a ride into town with the littles (with a very lovely couple) and Dan literally rolled into Golden, luckily it was all down hill. Bob came and picked us up drove us to Canmore. Uncle Reid came to Canmore and took us to Calgary. Megan our red wagon left abandoned. It was like Amazing Race, but with babies, car seats and way too much stuff.
But it was all worth it when we saw the newest addition to our growing Family baby Adam Francis Luigi. What a dove. His soft feathery hair, so squishy and snuggly...love. And my sister is being a rockstar towing all three of her wonderful kidlets everywhere. Being awesome. Like she always is.
Elijah was so happy to see his cousins.
We were so happy to see Grandma Pat and Grandpa Carl. They kindly drove from Edmonton to visit. They always go out of their way to be wonderful! Such a nice visit.Wednesday, 21 May 2014
Four months and counting...
Oh sweet little babe is four months old! I already had to put the 3-6 months clothes away...and I am worried that the 6-9 are already snug! Seriously? He is a very tall boy!
Gavin has started grabbing things this month- Dan's dreads, our dinner plates, anything in front of him. He is like a little Koala Bear and will hold on so tightly to your arm.
He is also chewing and drooling like crazy, he likes to shove both his hands into his mouth or his little toy...perhaps some early teething. Poor lil guy.
Gavin is super strong and loves to do little baby sit ups and rock back and forth when you hold him. He loves to stand, and when you clap his hands. Oh and is a big fan of kicking his legs to make his baby chair bounce.
He is still the most peaceful little babe ever, great sleeper, always smiling and giving those amazing wide eye stares that just make you melt. At this rate I may feel tempted to keep having babies. We love you Gavi Goo.

Easter Visit
Riding the Easter train in Stanley park...as always I am the most excited!
Elijah telling us that his Easter egg was going to hatch (because the foil was coming off) then getting chocolate on his hand "Mom my finger tastes gross"!
Making Dan turn around so we could drive down the Cherry Blossom lined street
Hiking in Lynn Canyon and a taco lunch on the bench
(okay I was totally scared going across the suspension bridge with my babies)
Yummy dinners and breakfast shakes
Party Tray Sushi (Elijah being very distraught that they tainted his tofu roll with plum preserve) "Mom let's go back to the other restaurant"
Papa making Gavin giggle with the best belly laugh!
Discovering Korean Melon and making the best melon, cucumber and mint salad.
Watching Elijah and Papa play cars on the balcony.
A beautiful walk down to the farm and the rain kindly waiting till we got there.
mmmm....Halibut at the Chinese Restaurant in Richmond!
Elijah what was your favourite thing about seeing papa? " Sitting on the fishing docks eating grapes, and baby tomatoes!!"

Three months and Counting...
Time is going so quickly and our little guy is already three months old...he is just the sweetest! He will give you the biggest brightest smile just for looking at him!
But the best thing ever is his giggles. Mostly he laugh's at his Dad...because apparently he is hilarious! They just melt me those dimples and giggles. Well you can watch the video and see for yourself...ENJOY!

Happy Colorful Moments...
Sushi Burrito Night...we have not done one of these in a while since sushi is so cheap here. For those of you who are unfamiliar- you get a full nori sheet, fill with yumminess, roll and eat. No cutting, no precision, nothing dainty, requires large wasabi soy sauce dipping dish. Yum.
Elijah's artful crab-like creature. This is made on his cool magnetic shape board, that he is loving! Such a wonderful toy- thanks Grandma Sandie!
Dan and Elijah's epic train track construction- not sure who enjoy's it more...but I do know the box we store it in is getting progressively larger.
My stripy boys cuddling...such sweetness!
Dans pizza- yumm yummm.
Elijah's little town he made, I love how original it is. He told me all about it- there is the fish market, over there is the library....so cute.
